I'm awarding a GOLD METAL

My Carrie/Spring Trends mashup meant I needed a good 'ole SATC rewatch - as I was revisiting all the oldies but goodies - I found myself drawn to SO MANY of the looks in season 4! I even awarded (in the silliness of my own brain) styling gold medals to a few specific episodes. Which brings us to this week's scoop...

the first STYLING GOLD MEDAL goes to

(all looks from SEASON 4 EPISODE 11)

so let's take a look at what earned this gold medal…

Oversized shorts held up with striped suspenders (you know I love it) layered over a shrunken vest finished off with pom pom ties holding together Carrie's low pony, a newsboy cap and a NY TIMES crossbody bag!

the second STYLING GOLD MEDAL

One of those amazing, coming-in-from-grabbing-the-paper looks (always some of the best) wearing a school uniform pleated mini, a ruffle front white tank with the coolest white blazer (notice those sleeves) and it doesn't stop there - a black pom pom holds up a high pony - she's wearing nude socks with white heels (I'm in) and carrying her Gucci belt bag.

the third STYLING GOLD MEDAL

Hands down one of my all time favorite looks ever! Pink 80's prom dress out on the streets festooned with a quirky brooch, a gaudy gold pendant necklace and the best use of a headscarf that will never not floor me. Final details are her white pump and TWO BAGS (because you need two!)

the fourth STYLING GOLD MEDAL

This look snuck up on me and it's the little details that get me. Of course the pink terry cloth romper is super cute - but this time around my eye caught Carrie's floral newsboy hat and once again the Gucci belt bag.

the fifth STYLING GOLD MEDAL

The white dress and parasol are absolutely spring magic and I'm crushing on the oversized hair pom pom and TWO BAGS (again!)

the sixth STYLING GOLD MEDAL

The final look of the episode was date night perfection. Wild horses paint the side of Carrie's pants topped off with a 70's style blouse and striped shacket - easy breezy BUT OH SO COOL!
