Currently in THE TRENCHES!

Meaning… I can’t get enough of trench coat dressing. It’s the classic that tops the list of closet essentials, but following the waves of fashion feelings - this classic has been benched the last few seasons.

Suddenly this spring, the trench coat has been called off the bench and it’s the star player! It feels fresh again and ready to be styled up in all sorts of new ways.

Glancing at my closet, I realized I didn’t have a trench coat - having sold my amazing (oh why did I sell it!) vintage classic a few years ago. What did I do?!

You guessed it!

I went on the RAVENOUS thrift hunt for my “new” trench coat - in every thrift store, Crossroads (pictured on right.. but too big) and vintage shop I could find. Not finding the perfect one quick enough, I turned to Ebay! And.. there I found it!

The slightly-oversized, buttercream London fog version that was just my size.

It is currently hanging happily in my closet and taking a new spin every few days. Styled up in some Celine inspired magic (above) and head-to-toe khaki (below) goodness.
