Prairie and puff sleeves
PUFF SLEEVES.. Ever since ANNE OF GREEN GABLES.. I’ve always had a thing for them! I’ll never forget the dress I bought when I was 10 years old that had puff sleeves. Now, I finally have my own GROWN UP version to twirl and and whirl around in.
Sometimes you just need a good day of thrifting to energize your brain with new inspirations and new ideas. That is exactly what happened to me the day I headed to one of my favorite “off the beaten path” stores. It’s called Super Thrift and it’s a HONEY HOLE!!
While I was there I found two, yes TWO, prairie dresses and a blouse with the dreamiest puff sleeves. Visions of romance and open fields flooded my mind and I knew I needed to bring them back to life. This life can always use more romance and wide open spaces.. even if it’s just wrapped up in a dress.
